WWE 2K is a series of professional wrestling video games based on the American professional wrestling promotion WWE. The latest in the series, WWE 2K23, is set to release on March 14th 2023. Fans from all consoles and devices will be hungry for throwdown, so is WWE 2K23 cross play?
WWE 2K23 has proven to be another incredible solid addition to the long-running as it’s a wide variety of modes, graphics, and accurate depiction of professional wrestling has been a huge factor in this.
As a result, more potential players are getting on board, but it has also left some questioning certain aspects of the wrestling sim.
As expected the game hasn’t evolved much from the previous year, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t new ways to play with your friends .WWE 2K23 crossplay is not available for this year’s game. WWE 2K22 did not receive crossplay so while not impossible, it does seem unlikely that this year’s game will get the feature in the future.
This is of course disappointing to players as crossplay has become a must-have feature for any multiplayer game in 2023. You probably shouldn’t hold out any hopes that crossplay will be in this year’s game.
So, if you own WWE 2K23 on PlayStation, you’re stuck playing the game with other PlayStation owners. While it’s certainly not the most essential feature, it’s definitely something players would appreciate having.
WWE 2K23 has the potential to take the wrestling gaming experience to new heights by potentially embracing cross-platform gameplay. Whether it’s breaking down barriers between consoles or bridging the gap between PC and console players, the possibility of cross-platform play opens up exciting prospects for the WWE gaming community.
However, despite WWE 2023 not having crossplay for online multiplayer, there are some cross-platform features for players to enjoy.

WWE 2K23 does have cross-platform Community Creations. Community creations keep us up to date.
This is where the community steps in. New outfits are uploaded days after we see them, but that’s not all. Wrestlers that make sudden returns are uploaded for everyone to use.This allows players to view and share creations with users on other platforms.
There is a small catch, however. To participate in cross-platform Community Creations, players must have a 2K account. Thankfully, it’s pretty straightforward to set one up and they’re available to everyone. Simply head to the official 2k account website.
Once you’ve created your 2K Account, you can enable cross-platform Community Creations in the the game’s settings.
While it would be awesome to see crossplay featured in a WWE game one day, Community Creations remains one the the series’ strongest points. So, at least players can make the most of WWE 2K23‘s impressive Creation Suite and share their creations with others regardless of the platform they own.
